Every single morning. That’s hemp meal (superfood!) on top.

This was Saturday night. Key Lime pie, too. Hey, it’s all about balance. Delicious balance. Back to eggs, meat and nuts today.
If you know me really well, you know how happy this makes me.
Omg I can’t wait!
Just me and the pups tonight. And these sweet potato fries. And a beer. And a movie. And maybe a hot candlelit bad. #theend
Had an amazing piece of salmon from Pita Jungle today at work. Hands down my favorite restaurant.
On Friday, Justine’s last day at Sage, Terry, Justine, Bridgitte, Janet, Brent and I went our for lunch at True Foods Kitchen.
I asked the waitress to surprise me on my order (it’s my new thing I Do) and got a yummy mushroom pizza; something I would have never ordered myself. Also got surprised with a little flour-less chocolate cake treat at the end, along with a really nice card from Bridgitte. Thanks, everyone.
PS: Still not ready/willing to process that Justine’s actually gone. Hmph.
Stopped in at Chloe’s Corner yesterday for one of the best salads I’ve had in a while. Terry had a BLT he said he “would have paid $20 dollars for”. He actually/literally teared up.

I’m being bad.

This cute little place is at Kierland Commons. Love it! Simple, cheap breakfast, very good and $0.50 coffee! Patio weather is coming and it’s dog-friendly!
Brought Dani for a visit with Deana afterwards. On our way out shoe shopping.
Wow, how time files. It’s been weeks since I’ve posted anything here. Here’s a quick stroll over the past 2+ weeks since my last post:
Raw veggies FTW
AKA: Dream Salad
Mmmm… Strawberries and Banannas. So yummy. Thanks, Terry.
Kale, so yummy.
West Egg with Leah and Terry. The soda was amazing.
Getting back in the groove with Quinoa and Black Beans. The veg on top adds just the right crunch.
Whoops..
Terry and I make lunch together and eat the same thing for lunch every day. Yay for healthy food!
Leah came over tonight and we made a homemade apple pie (I know, shocker) and played some Acey Ducey. I won! POW!
Eat your heart out, Julia Child.
Mom had us over to the cabin on Saturday night for a big turkey dinner. Thanksgiving revisited! It was excellent.
Terry and I were invited over to have Thanksgiving with Carolyn Pryde last night. We had a great time. The food was amazing, her friends from Canada were a hoot, and it was awesome/weird to be back in the old neighborhood!
It’s becoming a tradition of sorts. Mmmmmm.
Yay for raw, nutrient-dense food!
I saw this on Food Network 2 weekends ago and it’s my new favorite breakfast: Egg in the Hole. Pretty simple, just cut hole in bread, toast first side, flip toast drop egg in, flip, serve. So yummy.
New lunch plan. Loving it!!!
Trying a new plan this week. We’re moving the chicken/rice to lunches and now having a salad for dinner every night. Also switching from sushi rice to brown rice; too many simple cabs post workout / before bed. This is making lunches simpeler and dinners lighter. Hopefully it works out. I’ve gained about 10 pounds back.
So ripe n juicy!
Really looking forward to this!
It’s actually blue! And yummy! Thanks, Kristin.
So amazing. Quinoa, parsley, cucumber, tomato, scallions, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin and home-roasted almonds. Bliss.
This place gets better and better.
Chipotle.
It’s working it’s magic but I’m craving something/anything with some hollandaise right about now.
IPA for me, Stella for Terry.
= :) @ RA Sushi
Move over coffee. Tea is here to stay.
Terry and I are at Yard House having a Stone IPA. It’s my favorite. So hoppy. So tasty.
Happy (late) Thanksgiving. Yesterday was great. Terry and I had a leisurely morning in bed with the dogs. Once we got up, we went drove to the big park behind Paradise Valley High School. The grassy area was deserted; we had the place to ourselves. We let them go off-leash and ran around and played on the playground. Swinging is so fun. After that, we came home to make our deserts to bring over to Mark’s parent’s place for dinner. I made a homemade apple pie, crust and all, and Terry made a fantastic Blackberry Cobbler. I took a quick little nap before we left. Thanks for the leftovers! Today: Shopping, Hike up North Mountain, Gym, Movie
I could eat this everyday.
Mmm.
Cheers!
Made some chocolate covered strawberries and went over to Cory and Fonda’s for poker last night. Had a blast. Was second to last in poker. Good job, Scooter.
This is my #1 favorite thing to eat.
I’m getting good at the lattice tops.
